Common questions
Do transactions assigned to a Slice reduce that Slice balance?+
Yes. When a transaction is assigned to a Slice, that amount is deducted from the Slice balance.
Can a category or merchant spend from a Slice automatically?+
Yes. In Slice Settings, you can set categories and merchants that automatically spend from a Slice.
Can I use Slices without Rules or Schedules?+
Yes. Slices can be managed manually, then paired with Rules and Schedules later when you want more automation.
Does deleting a Slice delete transactions?+
No. Transactions assigned to a Slice stay in your transaction history. Deleting a Slice only removes the bucket used to organize them.
